Lightning

Lightning is the active-illumination control framework for robot perception. It enables robots to adaptively control their onboard lighting to improve the quality of visual data and downstream task performance. By modeling the relationship between illumination and task utility, Lightning allows robots to make informed decisions about when and how to adjust their lighting in response to changing environmental conditions.
